VenueHERBERT ZIPPER CONCERT HALL The Herbert Zipper Concert Hall at the Colburn School will accommodate the conference. Catered luncheons on both days will be served alfresco at the landscaped outdoor plaza, immediately adjacent to the main lobby. Be sure to show your registration badge to the servers. Complimentary coffee, tea and water will be available to registered guests on the outdoor plaza during the breaks. The Colburn Café, located across the upper plaza, will be open before, during and after the conference. No food or beverages are allowed inside the Zipper Concert Hall. For the convenience of conference attendees who need a hotel, we recommend the Omni Los Angeles Hotel at the California Plaza, which is just steps away from the conference venue. The hotel is situated atop historic Bunker Hill in the heart of sophisticated downtown Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Civic Center, the Financial District and the Staples Center, as well as many of Los Angeles' world-class theaters and museums, are just minutes from the hotel. Please allow plenty of time for parking before the event. There are numerous street lots available in the area (least expensive) and there is usually parking at the California Plaza and at Disney Hall (most expensive).
